  • What was happening in your life before working with mike?

I was in the process of bearing the fruits of my lack of emotional labor in my marriage. I was quickly learning that all of the strategies I'd used to make it where I was in life weren't serving me in a way that made me (or her) happy. I was successful, but only superficially. I was numb to myself and the feelings of those I cared most about. I was unable to express my emotions and unable to connect with the emotions of those around me.

  • What benefits did you gain from working with mike?

I gained a mentor, a model, a safe space, a reflection, and a friend. From Mike, I was able to learn from his experiences and expertise. I was able to see how the things he was teaching me could be embodied in a person. I had the safety to know that I didn't have to "get it right" I just had to "be true to what was happening." I was able to reflect on the events of my past and present to actually begin to let go so they didn't mess up my future.

  • How was your experience working with mike each session?

Working with Mike each session was a combination of exhausting and energizing. We'd dive deep and hang out down there as long as I could stand. That's where the work is. He'd help me get to the things I didn't want to clarify, didn't want to work on, and didn't want to think about. That clarity, that effort, that progress was energizing to keep working and improving.

  • What is your relationship with yourself like today?

It's a work in progress. It'll always be a work in progress. But now, I'm working on it.

  • What would you say to someone who is interested in coaching with mike?

What is more valuable than growing as a person and really understanding yourself and how you move through relationships, work, and the world? I made so much progress with Mike in 8 weeks that people were trying to figure out what was different about me when they saw me. My body language, how I carried myself all changed through Mike. I got an emotional makeover, and just like the TV shows those around me couldn't believe it. You can have that transformative experience too if you put in the work.

  • What were you hoping to gain before working with Mike?

I worked with Mike so that I can define my purpose and take the necessary steps to achieve it. There were big shifts happening in my life:  supporting a new family, changing career paths, and stepping into my true nature. And there were road blocks in the way such as doubt/fear and lack of boundaries.

  • What did you gain from working with Mike?

I gained the ability to create SMART goals, how to be more in touch with my breathing and body to get into parasympathetic state so that I can establish clarity during times I am overwhelmed with responsibilities. With Mike, I was able to navigate past traumas and patterns and worked with them directly and shift perspectives on old beliefs about how to operate in the world.

  • How did Mike help you transform into the person you are today?

The biggest takeaway was defining my purpose and creating my purpose statement. This helped me envision the steps needed to realize this goal of shifting away from my current job into a path that is aligned with my being, which is to facilitate change through hypnotherapy and NLP.

  • What would you say to someone interested in working with Mike? Why?

Mike knows how to hold space during your most crucial moments of change and he will provide you with the necessary tools and approach in such a way that's broad enough for application. He will listen wholly and support your process.

  • What were you hoping to gain before working with mike?

Throughout my life, I've struggled a lot with anxiety and I wanted to find ways to cope with it. I turned 30 this year and since I was a young adult, I always imagined this milestone to be a breakthrough. I wanted to find ways to discover my purpose - my "why". With all the crazy things that has been going on in my life now in my 20s, I needed some element to help me guide me into this big transition. I stumbled upon Mike on Instagram, we sent each other a few DMs and the rest just flowed nicely into action. The process of getting set up in the program was smooth - although it was a bit nerve racking at first, I felt prepared, supported and motivated.

  • What did you gain from working with mike?

Coaching encouraged me to become a more mindful person. Some of my favorite takeaways from these sessions are accepting everything and anything that has served, serves and will serve me, learning and understanding my self-worth, taking the time to present myself in a wholesome way to attract what I am looking for and activating my voice to own it and talk about it. Mike created a space for me to release all of the thoughts circulating in my head and prescribes homework, solutions and challenges to help me practice and put these realizations into action and become the man I dream to be. In the end, I learned that I am in-control of my life and I can steer it in any direction I desire. Everything starts within.

More over, coaching with Mike taught me about acceptance. Accept it and own it. The good, the bad, the ugly, the exciting, the crazy, the unnecessary…habits of life. Inescapable? Accept it. Don’t like it? Change it. Able to live with it? Own it. Acceptance is key. Acceptance of the past, present and future. Accepting that you are who you are because of your every little thing that has happened in your life. Accepting that there’s nothing you can do for a promised tomorrow. Accepting that the internal negative talk will probably never go away, but learning to shut it up is the start. Accepting that despite all the pain we experience, we rise up higher. Accepting that life is inevitable, so you have to roll with it.

  • How did mike’s coaching help you transform into the man you are today?

Since I completed coaching, I’ve been more aware. At times, I catch myself fall thru into my old habits but now I know ways to cope and jump out of the funk. I’ve learned that it’s ok to stop and take moments to focus on breathing. I’ve learned that I am in-control of all parts of my life. I’ve learned that the various themes, events and DNA in our history shapes us into people we are today and who we will become. I’ve learned that it takes time and effort to build sustainable habits. I've learned my purpose...and understand that it can change throughout life. I met in Inner Wise One who I can always turn to in times of insecurity and being lost. Most importantly, I've learned to love myself.

  • What would you say to someone interested in enrolling into the program? Why?

For someone interested in coaching with Mike, I would tell them that they'll need to put in the work to see the results.

In my eyes, coaching is designed to help you become the man you’ve always dreamt to be - a man that is mindful, in-control, aware and in-acceptance of all aspects of his life in order to live the life that best serves him and his needs + desires.

  • Why did you choose to hire Mike as your coach?

After Mike sliding into my DM's on Insta we set up an initial conversation and there was a wonderful flow and innate attunement from Mike that resonated with me, I could feel a natural trust and comfort in Mike's leadership to take me deeper within myself.  I felt like I could trust him to take me to where I needed to go within.

  • What were you challenged with before working with Mike and how did he help?

I had felt like my life was moving so fast and I became exhausted reacting to everything life was throwing my way, I needed to slow down internally and I felt like I was spinning my wheels trying to figure out how.  Mike helped me slow down and sit with the parts of myself that I was unconsciously bypassing.  I was busy expressing myself when what I needed was to tend to some things and just be, Mike helped show me those deeper parts of myself to tend and care to.

  • What did you love most about your coaching relationship with Mike?

That Mike's goal was simply to just help me, he cared deeply about taking me into the parts of myself that were asking for care.

  •  What did you gain from hiring Mike?

I think most importantly was a return to presence and a reminder of how beautiful and calming a simple deep breath can be.

  • What's your advice for men interested in hiring Mike as their coach?

If you know you're looking for an impactful investment, invest in taking a step into yourself through Mike's incredible talent of taking you into self fulfillment and love.  The gifts of your future are only as good as your investments that you choose now, and your future self will thank you deeply for your courage to step into this work.

  • What were you hoping to gain before working with mike?

Having been involved in some men's work before, I wanted to experience a more structured, tailored program that could help me to uncover new insights about myself and how to be the man I wanted.

  • What did you gain from working with mike?

Coaching acted as a giant mirror for who I was. It enabled to see myself more clearly, to understand who I was and how I operated, and to identify areas to focus to be the man I wanted to be.

  • How did coaching help you transform into the man you are today?

Having dedicated coaching helped to provoke new questions even from some areas I thought I had already examined. The accountability and support of Mike made a huge difference, along with having structure to ensure I kept pace with the work.

The reality is, if you're at all interested in coaching, there's some part of you calling out for change and reflection.
